What is Yoho?
Yoho is a strategic game for 2-4 players, ages 8 and up, lasting 20-30 minutes, where each player embodies a pirate on a treasure hunt in the Caribbean Sea.
This game holds special significance for us, as it’s the first title we’re publishing with our game studio, Fedora Games. For our small independent publisher, this project marks a crucial step: the launch of our operations. After months of hard work, we can’t wait to see this project come to life!
Created by Joël Ferrari, a passionate board game designer since childhood, this game was designed to be both easy to explain yet deep and strategic enough to offer a real challenge for both casual and experienced players.
The uniqueness of Yoho!
Yoho is a thrilling game set in a pirate universe that plunges you into a quest for treasure and naval battles. Yoho’s originality lies in its modular game board, made up of double-sided cards, offering infinite variability to each game.
Its design is both fun and colorful, with meticulous components including ship miniatures, detailed treasure coins, and wooden tokens to represent health and cannonballs. A cotton storage bag stamped with the game’s logo is also included for easy storage, and for those seeking even more immersion, an optional neoprene playmat with a treasure map design completes the experience.
This first limited and numbered edition is an original and local project, conceived by a Vaudois author, that deserves to come to life to offer board game enthusiasts a new and captivating experience in the pirate world of the Caribbean Sea.
